Connie's approach to innovation starts with business understanding, aims at improving business outcomes, and is achieved with creative thinking and innovative solutions. Connie received a Master's of Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)

Joe Leitenberg
Operations & Growth
Joe supports business operations and organizational growth for government agencies at Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and agencies at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DOD). Prior to venturing into the world of government service, Joe worked for multiple IT startups, including one of the first Taiwan-based software companies to go public.

Kumar Devaraj
Vice President, Innovations
As an innovative Solutions Architect, Kumar has been pivotal in executing numerous complex Health IT programs
throughout his 19+ years in the healthcare sector.
Kumar has designed and implemented the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solution for the Affordable Care Act
(Healthcare.gov). He has also been instrumental in developing the Claims Adjudication system for the Veterans Affairs.
He has contributed to the successful implementation of various Medicaid systems. His work on the redesign of the
Encounter Data Processing System (EDPS) has saved millions of dollars in program operations.
Focusing on empowering customers with healthcare data, Kumar is passionate about driving continuous performance
improvement and achieving optimal efficiency with deep understanding of customer needs and leveraging new
technologies. He maintains a results-oriented approach to tackle complex business challenges.
Kumar is an official member of X12 and HL7.

Holly Ham
Vice President, Customer Success
Holly has led private industry and public sector teams to excel at customer-focused initiatives that drive positive outcomes. Most recently, Holly served the American people at the federal level in the Department of Education, Department of Commerce, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. At Macannie, she brings the same dedication and determination to help organizations modernize and optimize to better serve its customers.

Asif Shariff
RPA Practice Lead
Asif is a Pega Certified Lead System Architect specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Management (BPM), and case management solutions. Prior to joining Macannie, Asif served for 18 years in the banking and financial industry, supporting clients that include Morgan Stanley and American International Group (AIG). Asif provides technical architecture, team leadership, and hands on coding skills to support federal government and commercial clients.

Katie Zhu
MD, PhD, FAMIA, FIAHSI
Chief Health Informatics Officer / Senior Advisor
Katie is the Executive Director for the Center for Biomedical Data Science at the Yale School of
Medicine. She is a clinician and healthcare informatics professional with more than a decade of
experience in health informatics research, advisory and consulting, as well as an established track
record of developing creative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
Besides her medical training
and practice in anesthesiology, she also received her M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University under the National
Library of Medicine fellowship.
Previously, Kate served as an External Advisory Board member to the
Center for Advanced Technology at Columbia University, physician scientist lead of pervasive health at
the Center for Computational Health at IBM Watson Research, Chief Medical Information Officer at
Kforce Government Solutions, associate medical director at Pfizer, clinical project manager at
Philips, and healthcare subject-matter expert at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Zhen Xiao
PhD
Senior Advisor, Data informatics and Data science
As a senior advisor in data informatics and data science to Pulsebyte, Dr. Zhen provides guidance to our continuous
advancement of leveraging data power to improve healthcare and health research results.
Trained in Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Xiao previously worked as a Senior Scientist at Frederick National Laboratory for
Cancer Research, NCI, developing multi-omic biomarkers for cancer early diagnosis, prevention and screening, and the
Cancer Data Standard Registry (CaDSR) for Cancer Data Research Commons.
In collaboration with Dr. Tony Fauci and his laboratory at NIAID, Dr. Xiao achieved the breakthrough of identifying a
novel HIV receptor through data mining, paving ways for now commercialized novel AIDS treatment and management
strategies.
Dr. Xiao held leadership positions for organizations including Leidos and Maximus to support the federal health agencies
including the NIH and DHA, in the areas of life sciences and biodefense business areas.
Dr. Xiao obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-sen University in China with thesis
sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old
Dominion University with dissertation sponsored by the NCI Early Detection Research Network.
With 20+ years of experience at the forefront of biomedical research and data science, Zhen has 50+ publications in high
impact peer-reviewed journals including Nature Immunology, Cancer Research and Cancer Cell, 4 book chapters, and 50+
scientific conference presentations and invited lectures.
She is a two-time recipient of American Association for Cancer Research AFLAC Scholar Award, Leidos Business Development
All-Star and Customer Engagement Awards. She was selected by Leidos (Rank #1 Technology Provider to the Federal
Government) as the only executive representing Leidos in the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory
Council (ACT-IAC) Partners Leadership Program, attaining the ACT-IAC Fellow recognition.
Dr. Zhen founded Truvante LLC, whose mission is to be the premier partner of the government and industry in developing
and applying data-powered, person-centered, mission-focused holistic approaches to improve health, safety, and
well-being for all.
